About
I am a clinical psychologist specializing in Lacanian psychoanalysis for adult clients. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Koç University and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from BahçeÅŸehir University.

Currently based in Hamburg, I offer psychoanalytic sessions both in person and online. The core goal of my practice is to create a space where clients can speak freely and explore their desires. Together, we examine the unique logic of your anxiety, pain, and suffering. Through this process, it becomes possible to transform your relationship with your history and lived experiences.

My commitment is to create a safe and respectful space that honors each person’s individuality and dignity. Yet, it is important to understand that psychoanalysis is a long-term investment in one’s personal journey, requiring time and patience for meaningful change to unfold.

Professional Experience
Alongside my private psychoanalytic practice, I work as a Clinical Psychologist in Hamburg, where I provide outpatient social-psychiatric support for individuals with severe mental health conditions — including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and complex trauma. My work focuses on psychological stabilization after hospitalization, supporting autonomy in daily life, and promoting social participation in close interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians, therapists, and care teams. In addition, I volunteer as a Clinical Psychologist at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), offering psychological support to Turkish-speaking oncology patients. Within this setting, I provide counseling to individuals and families coping with the emotional challenges of illness and treatment.
Academic Experience
Before moving to Germany, I taught psychology courses at several universities, including Introduction to Psychology and Developmental Psychopathology.
Psychoanalytic Training & Membership
I am actively involved in psychoanalytic study and research within the NLS Initiative Berlin, which operates under the umbrella of the New Lacanian School (NLS).
The NLS Initiative Berlin is dedicated to transmitting psychoanalysis through the study of the works of Freud and Lacan, and through clinical approaches grounded in Lacan’s teaching. Its activities — seminars, reading groups, and other events — aim to make psychoanalysis of the Lacanian orientation accessible as both theory and experience.
